Lord, My world is changing all around me
and sometimes it's really overwhelming.
I learn something new everyday
but seem to go about change
in all the wrong way.
I get frustrated and just want to scream
sometimes I wish it were all a bad dream.
Living by what I've always known
seems to have left me all alone.
I miss the security of the past
and pray these feelings do not last.
Lord, I want you to give me a peace
I desperately hope my faith will increase.

Where is my joy, my peace, and my hope?
My fears are so blinding
I feel I can't cope.
I realize that painful correction
will turn my fear into trust.
What I need is your loving direction.
I want out of this cage I've put myself in
to go right out the door
and never come back again.

that make you one of a kind.
My hopes, my prayers, my dreams
are all in you combined.
I always hoped to find someone
who was handsome, kind, and true.
I wasn't sure I'd find such a one
until the day that I met you.
I always prayed I'd find someone
who was committed to God's will.
Someone I could grow with
to build a love that's real.
I always dreamed I'd find someone
who'd deserve to wear a crown,
a very special someone
who'd turn my world upside down.
I'm so glad we found each other.
I feel an overwhelming release.
