Lord, I'm crying out from the depths of my soul.
Why do I yield to fear's control?
I long for the faith I truly need,
to just let go and let you lead.
You're my creator and my guide
only you can heal me deep inside.
Help me to trust your loving care
and to accept myself, if I dare.
Teach me, Lord, to serve and pray
so I can grow in you each day.
Lead me, Lord, as I read your book
and open my eyes as I look.
Give me strength when I am weak
and open my ears whenever You speak.
By my actions may I reveal
my burning desire to do your will.
Lord, I want this dying world to see,
Your precious word ALIVE and living in me.
